What "VIET" means to us - Message from our Founder
The name “VIET” is not a brand decision. It is a commitment – and a source of humility.
As an European advisor who chose Vietnam not by chance but by conviction, I am deeply aware of the meaning this name carries. “Việt” is more than a country. It stands for resilience, identity, heritage – and a spirit of transformation that deserves respect.
When I founded VIET Transformation Advisors, it was not to use this name – but to honor it. I work exclusively with Vietnamese enterprises. I live here, I contribute here, and I learn here every day. The name reflects where my focus lies – and where my respect begins.
To me, VIET stands for:

Prof. Dr. Sven David is a transformation expert with over 25 years of international experience in leadership, restructuring, and crisis management. He began with a banking apprenticeship and moved into top-level consulting at Roland Berger, one of Europe’s leading firms in restructuring, before joining KPMG Germany as Manager in the Restructuring Unit with statutory authority (Prokura), combining advisory expertise with formal executive responsibility.
Over his career, Sven has co-led more than 40 strategic mandates and guided over 30 companies through crisis. He has served as CFO and COO in mid-sized industrial firms, leading up to 260 employees, and co-founded and helped build a university as Professor of Business Administration. He also founded a European boutique consultancy, demonstrating a track record of operational and strategic leadership across sectors.
