VIET Transformation Advisors is a high-end boutique consultancy based in Vietnam. We specialize in corporate transformation, restructuring, and governance advisory – tailored to the unique dynamics of Vietnam’s private sector.
The firm was founded and is led by Prof. Dr. Sven David, a German expert in restructuring and transformation with over 25 years of experience in consulting and general management across Europe and Asia. We work exclusively with family businesses, private conglomerates, and long-term investors.
Our approach combines Western transformation methodology with a deep respect for Vietnamese business culture – building trust through discretion, consistency, and results. All client mandates are led personally by the founder or by experienced partners, supported by selected experts as needed – but always under central accountability.
The Role
We are seeking freelance legal and governance advisors with hands-on experience in business transformation, particularly in legal structuring, compliance, and corporate governance. Experience working with family businesses, succession planning, or turnaround situations is highly valued.
This is a senior-level freelance role with potential for long-term collaboration and, for outstanding candidates, a future partner track.
What We Expect
- Substantial experience in legal structuring, corporate governance, regulatory matters, or transaction-related advisory
- Deep understanding of the Vietnamese legal and regulatory environment
- Ability to translate legal complexity into actionable, business-focused advice
- Background in in-house legal roles, law firms, family offices, or M&A advisory
- Absolute professionalism, discretion, and a solution-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact credibly at the top management level
