This article was published in the Vietnamese print edition of Đầu tư on August 27, 2026. It is the Vietnamese-language version of Dr. Sven David’s article “Motivations of major resolution will entice long-term foreign investors”, first published in Vietnam Investment Review in July 2026.
The article examines Resolution No. 10-NQ/TW and Vietnam’s next phase of foreign investment attraction. Its central argument is that Vietnam’s investment agenda is moving beyond capital attraction towards capability building, stronger domestic supplier linkages, technology transfer, management capability, and disciplined implementation.
This publication is relevant because it moves an argument first addressed to the international investor community through Vietnam Investment Review into Vietnam’s Vietnamese-language business, investment, and policy discussion through Đầu tư.
